DeFelsko Testex Press-O-Film Replica Tape, Coarse, 0.8-2.0 mils (20-50 microns), 50 Replicas

Testex Press-O-Film Coarse replica tape is used to measure lighter blast profiles, from 0.8 to 2.0 mils, on abrasive-blasted steel. Burnish a strip onto the prepared surface, then read the compressed foam with a spring micrometer or PosiTector RTR to get the peak-to-valley height. Inspectors also use it to check X-Coarse readings that fall in the 1.5 to 2.5 mil overlap zone.

Compatibility

Measure with the Testex Digital Micrometer (RTM), Testex analog dial micrometers (RTMMIL, RTMMIC and certified versions), or the PosiTector RTR H and RTR 3D replica tape readers. The Testex Digital Micrometer and RTR H apply the Coarse conversion and subtract the 2 mil backing automatically.
