The PosiTector 6000 F1 pairs the Standard PosiTector gauge body with the F probe, an integral probe for measuring non-magnetic coatings (paint, powder coat, galvanizing) on steel and iron. It covers 0-60 mils (0-1500 µm) and suits inspectors, applicators and QC labs that need documented, standards-based dry film thickness readings. Best fit: one-handed spot checks of paint and powder coat on steel and iron in the shop or field.

Compatibility

Standard vs. Advanced
The Standard body (model ending in 1) stores 1,000 readings per probe and connects by USB. The Advanced body (model ending in 3) adds 250,000-reading batch memory, live graphing, Prompted Batch Mode, three Scan modes, SSPC-PA 2, ISO 19840 and IMO PSPC 90/10 inspection modes, multiple stored calibration adjustments, WiFi and Bluetooth for the PosiTector App and printer. The Advanced version of this gauge is the F3.
