Abrasive Media

   Blasting with abrasive media will produce a surface profile that coatings can better adhere to strengthening the coating and providing better protection. A clean surface and profile is an extremely important step in achieving strong adhesion and will help to prevent coating failures caused by thermal expansion, exposure to the environment, and a number of other factors. Aluminum Oxide is fused alumina grains that are hard, blocky and tough for extra fast cutting action that is precisely screened for “specification use” which may be reclaimed many times and is ideal for blast rooms and cabinets.
